Having watched several videos in an attempt to get a photo image to animatedly zoom deeper into the photo and attempting this myself. I have given up!
The process is, after importing the .VPE file to AE.
Set a timeline of about 5 seconds
Select the parent , hit "P"
Click the stopwatch a blue diamond keyframe appears
Click z camera tool (top toolbar)
Move the timeline slider to the 5 second mark and zoom in with mousewheel, this is where the videos ALL LIE! Whatever I do via their instruction (also as previous steps above) does not work. Some say when you do this as if by magic a new keyframe will appear, more lies!
I can add a new keyframe at 5 seconds.
Then hit Space and... NOTHING. Nothing happens.
The theory is that I start at 0 sec and the image zooms in until it reaches the 5 second mark.
I have manged this ONCE but not replicated it since.
All the videos make this look easy, unfortunately AE keeps changing and videos no longer replicate what is on my workstation.
Does anyone hhave a simple 10 step ( whatever) set of instructions that will allow me to create this effect. Win 7 64 bit and AE CC build 69.
Thanks in advance.
