I want a single gradient fill from white to greying white with a feathered edge over transparency. I keep getting 1 colour at the feather from the mask instead of the gradient fill feathering of to transparency without solid white. I have also tried a tracking matte option no luck. How can take away this horrible result other than recreating what I want from scratch in photoshop or illustrator? [Update: A mask of a photoshop file does the same thing. The photoshop file will need to include transparency as well then.]
