If I create comps that are numbered:

No problem.
But AE seems to insist on sorting my comps this way if I modify the names.
001
002
003
004
001a
or...
001
002
003
004
001-alt
In any other app or in my Finder this is not the case.
Other apps or the Finder display the list as follows:

001a
002
003
004
or...
001
001-alt
002
003
004
Kind of drives me crazy as I usually modify my alternate sequences with an extra alpha character (1001a,001b,001c...). I've been doing it this way for decades. The only app that gives me grief is AE. Makes no sense...no sense I can see!
