After effects error on loadup, and after loading

Hello,

I'm receiving two separate errors when trying to use Adobe CS6 through CC. I am currently on a system running Mac OS X 10.6.8.

When loading up AE initially I am propted with an error during Cleaning Up Scripting.

After I click OK, the program loads up but if I enter the preferences menu and try to close out of it I am given the following error.

Any thoughts on how to fix these? I've tried fixing permissions, complete reinstalls, with all updates, launching in root mode and nothing is working. Same error everytime.
