I admitedly have a very basic understanding of expressions, but I have to achieve something really simple and I was hoping somebody here could tell me how to do it.
I have to drive the center of the lens flare effect according to the feature center of a track point in another layer. That would be easy, just making an expression and dragging the whip to the feature center in the tracker. The problem is that I also have to offset it by -44 pixels on the X and -145 pixels on Y. I'm sure this must be a piece of cake for someone who knows expressions a bit better than I do. Basically it would be the value of X in feature center -44 and Y -145.
I had to take this approach because the center of the lens flare sometimes goes out of the frame, while the area that I tracked always stays on screen so as long as I can offset it it should work fine.
Thanks,
Sebastian
PS: I know about the "separate dimensions" feature, however, that works only on the position of a layer, it's grayed out when selecting the lens flare center or the feature center in the tracker.
